"I think I just pushed her and maybe spit on her a couple times," says Mark Anthony Butcher, boyfriend and baby-daddy to homeless and pregnant Caeshel Sue Rae Allen, an 18 year-old that just wants a family no matter how bad it is.

Each photo feels more despondent than it's former because of their uniformity: the expression of this lost and dejected girl never falters or sways between shots. Allen's voice shakes out the lyrics to a Leona Lewis playing in the background: "I don't care what they say, I'm in love with you, they tried to pull me away, but they don't know the truth, my heart's crippled by the vein that I keep on closing." She is consistently just her age, unknowing of what love is and how it is shared.
