Storytelling students from UNC Chapel Hill combine forces to illustrate the push-and-pull debate behind new energy practices. Their team effort produces an extensive collection of stories on an incredibly important issue, offering more coverage than some major news companies provide in a year.
“Everybody turn off your power for a week. And if you can survive, come here and protest.” It’s a stern statement from Lynn Ratliff, and it sums up the feelings of her West Virginia community on mountaintop mining. Of course there are those that heed to scientific facts, but as we all know, science isn’t always enough.
